Ahmad Rashid founded RAFT CPA to bring enterprise-level financial thinking to the clients who need it most: small business owners, self-employed professionals, and entrepreneurs building something of their own.

Ahmad holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from the University of Illinois Chicago, a Master of Taxation from Northern Illinois University, and an MBA from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. He is a licensed CPA in the State of Illinois with over 20 years of professional experience in financial reporting, tax strategy, and business operations.

Before launching RAFT CPA, Ahmad spent a decade at Amazon in progressively senior roles within the operations and supply chain organization, ultimately serving as a CFO for one of the company's supply chain divisions. There, he led financial planning and analysis, oversaw multi-billion-dollar cost structures, and partnered with executive leadership on strategy — gaining a front-row perspective on how financial discipline drives business outcomes at scale.
